Life And Death In America
We are pleased to welcome a new member to our family.
Gwendelyn Charlene Morfeld arrived May 22 to become Pat's first grandchild.
As she is beginning her life, we continue to celebrate the life of our good buddy, Kelly, who was taken from us in an automobile accident last year. Our hearts are broken, but our spirits were lifted at the recent memorial for this fine young man. Here's a photo of his monument.

The Lash LaRue Toy Drive for does it again!
Lash and The Mercurys

For the third year since 2003, Omaha rockabilly musician (and Don's nephew) Lash LaRue organized a toy drive for the children in the Porcupine District of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
This year, it included four concerts and a three-hour live radio broadcast featuring
The Mercurys, Desperate Bandwives, Down To Here, Chesire Grin and others.
THE RESPONSE WAS NOTHING SHORT OF OUTSTANDING!
THE RESULT WAS SEVERAL TRUCKLOADS OF TOYS, PLUS MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND MUCH MORE!
